1. About HireTutor.lk
HireTutor.lk is an online marketplace where verified tutors publish video lessons, PDF booklets and mock exams, and students purchase access to them. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Accounts may be used on one computer and one mobile device; sharing an account may result in it being suspended.
3. Students
Purchased content is licensed for your personal study only. You may not copy, record, resell or share lessons, booklets or exam questions. Payments are processed securely by PayHere.
4. Tutors
Tutor accounts are reviewed before they can publish. You confirm that the qualifications and experience you provide are true, that you own or are licensed to use everything you upload, and that your content is accurate and appropriate. HireTutor.lk may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms. Payouts are calculated from purchases of your content, less the platform commission shown in your dashboard, and are paid on a regular schedule.
5. Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful, misleading or infringing material, attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with the service.
6. Privacy
We collect the details you provide (such as your name, email, phone number and, for tutors, your profile photo and teaching profile) to run your account and the marketplace. Tutor profile photos and teaching profiles are shown publicly on tutor pages.
7. Changes and contact
